Francisco Ruiz Rodriguez, Spania. Knl El Gallinero, podenco ibicencos. Dømmer lørdag 18. mai.

After my studies in Valencia, I have been living in Palma de Mallorca since 1967. I have lived and worked on each of the Balearic islands, Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera. Thus I have come into contact with all the autochtonic breeds of these islands. I am a member of the Sociedad Canina of Mallorca and Ibiza since 1979, of the Real Sociedad Canina de Espana, informer times named RSCRFCE, since 1981.

I have had dogs ever since my childhood and started hunting with the Ibizan Hound and Mallorguin Perdigeros at the age of 17.
I founded the

• Sociedad Canina of the Balearic Islands, earlier called Sociedad Canina of Mallorca and Ibiza
• the SpanishClub fort he Podenco Ibicenco
• the Club for the Mallorquin hunting hound, now called Dogo Mallorquin, or Ca de Bou
• the Club del Rattero Mallorquin

In 1982 I took part in the symposium of the national Spanish breeds at the University of Cordoba, organized by the Department of Veterinary Medicine. I presented 5 papers and an article on the Podenco Andaluz (Iberico), the Ca de Bou, Ibizan Hound, Ca de Bestiar and the Canarian Hound.

I have bred Ibizan Hounds since 1979, kennel name ‘El Gallinero’, and won many championships – Spanish ones, International, World, US, Canadian championships and many others.
I have been an RSCE judge since 1981. I started as a specialist for the Ibizan Hound, later on I took on the Spanish breeds, later I was appointed as a judge for the FCI groups IV, VI, VII and many other breeds, and in Spain I am recognized as specialist for all Spanish breeds, and now international judge for all breeds (allrounder).

I am the author of the standards for the following Spanish breeds: Podenco Ibicenco (new version), Dogo Mallorquin, Podenco Andaluz, Podenco Canario, Rattero Mallorquin (not internationally recognized).

I have judged at national and international shows, European and World Shows in all five continents. In Spain I have judged at practically all dog shows. In many cases I judged the Spanish breeds at shows that were organized by the RSCE, including memorial shows ‘Immemoriam David Salamanca en Cuellar’. I judged and organized conferences in connection with the dog show for the Spanish breeds in Archidon. I was the first Spanish judge to officiate in Russia and Ukraine (in 1993), and organized a meeting between the president of the FCI and the Russian RKF in Bern/Switzerland during their World Show. As a result Russia was recognized as an associate member of the FCI.

I issued the first registrations papers for Dogo Canario, Podenco Canario, Podenco Andaluz, Perro de Agua Espanol and Galgo Espanol. I also judge each of the national Monograficas for these breeds. 

In Palma de Mallorca I contributed to the institutionalising of the law for the protection of animals of the Autonomous Region of the Balearic Islands (1992). I was the founder of the first nature reserve of Spain in the municipality of Palma. I upgrade the local police of Palma concerning dogs, the transport of animals and bio-piracy.

I have received several awards:

• the award in gold with diamonds of the SCB
• the award in gold of the SCB
• the award in gold of the RSCE and several local awards (Council of Mallorca and the Balearic Islands)

Knut Fr Blütecher, Knl Showline, Norge. Dømmer søndag 19. mai (nat.CAC)

Jeg har alltid vært opptatt av dyr og var aktiv innen hestesporten allerede fra tidlig alder. Min egen hund fikk jeg som tenåring. At det ble greyhound var et naturlig resultat av at rasen er for meg hundesportens svar på fullblodshesten. Dette skjedde i 1971 og hadde rasen i de påfølgende 43 år. Første whippet kom i 1986.

Kennelnavnet Showline ble registrert allerede i 1974 og litt senere også i The Kennel Club i England. Vi har et lite oppdrett og våre hunder lever som familiemedlemmer hele sitt liv hos oss. Som en konsekvens går generasjonene ganske så sakte, men våre hunder har likevel markert seg i den sterkeste konkurranse i Skandinavia, USA, England og resten av Europa med 12 BIS vinnere, som til sammen har vunnet over 50 Best in Show.

Våre to siste greyhounds var GB Int Ch Showline Silent Step (Tea) og hennes datter Sara – GB Int Ch Showline Sporting Step. Tea var 7. generasjon fra våre tidlige importer fra England og USA på 70-tallet. Hun vant 22 grupper og 10 BIS. Hun er den første norskeide mynde med engelsk champion tittel! Hennes bror ble champion i 15 land! Sara vant 33 gruppeseiere, 13 BIS/SBIS, Nr 3 Årets Hund alle raser i Norge 2009, 2010 og 2011! Hun fikk sitt engelske championat på tre strake utstillinger, alle med BIR på LKA 2010, Crufts 2011 og BIS på den store The Greyhound Club Championship Show 2012! Hennes bror It Ch Showline Sporting Trophy at Sobers var en av rasens mest markante avlshunder i moderne tid med toppvinnere i nesten alle verdenshjørner og bestefar til Bamsevinner 2013!

Vår første whippet var Int Ch Con Moto Fanitulla. Hun ble Årets Whippet i 1987. Hennes datter BIS Int Ch Showline Statuette ble beste norske tispe alle raser i Norge i 1995. Vi hadde i mange år et utstrakt og godt samarbeid med Librium, og deleide en rekke fine hunder som bl.a. Ch Librium’s Believe in Love, Ch Librium’s Bilitis Forever, Ch Librium’s Incredible Love, Ch Librium’s Jazz Festival og Ch Librium’s Remarkable Rose.

Nå har vi velkjente BIS Int Ch Sobers Roseberry For Sporting Field på snart 11 år, og søstrene Showline She’s The One og Showline Sweet Tiger Lily. Disse to ungdommene er døtre til BIS Int Ch Showline Scanorama, som igjen var datter av storvinneren på kontinentet – BIS Int Ch Hannah di Mahana.

Jeg ble autorisert dommer for flere mynderaser i 1983 og dømte allerede på Greyhoundklubbens utstilling samme år. Senere ble jeg også autorisert for podenco- og podengo-rasene, faraohund og etnahund.

Jeg har vært så heldig å dømme mange store spesialer og internasjonale utstillinger verden over, inkl. Australia, Danmark, England inkl. Crufts, Estland, Frankrike, Finland, Italia, Latvia, Nederland, Norge, Polen, Russland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Skottland, Spania, Sveits, Sverige, Tsjekkia, Tyskland, Ungarn, USA og Østerrike.

I årenes løp har jeg tatt min del av klubbarbeidet både i Norsk Myndeklubb, Norsk Greyhound Klubb og Norsk Whippetklubb, ofte som leder, kasserer, redaktør, leder av utstillingskomite, noe som har resultert i æresmedlemskap i Greyhoundklubben. Jeg har også i flere perioder deltatt i ulike komiteer i NKK, og sitter nå i NKKs utstillngskomite.

Jeg takker for invitasjonen til å dømme Podencoklubbens store spesial 2024. Sist jeg dømte den var i 2016. Flere av de som stilte der ligger bak dagens hunder. Jeg ser fram til å komme, dømme fine hunder og treffe mange raseentusiaster!
